After Melgar the girls and I headed off to Salento. I have been here before but so far it's my favorite place to visit. We tried to break up the 10 hour bus ride by stopping in on a few destinations on the way. Bus, bus and more bus!

A great night in town !
In the morning we coordinated a horse trail ride with our hostel. It was epic to say the least. Of course I am the size of the horse, poor guy! He had a big white gringo on his back. . . seriously I think I could have lifted him.

The point of the horse back ride was to get to swimming in this beautiful waterfall it was amazing. Right before we walked the trail the abundance of butterflies were just breathtaking.
So many different colors.
Then the Water fall !
It was one of the most beautiful sites that I have seen in this trip.
Back to town!

BACK ON A BUS ! To go to Armenia then Cali. . .
Exhausted and gave up trying to stand. . . waiting for a bus.
