So after Salento
Maricela and I took it slow. We stayed home in Cali for the week and we both worked. The next weekend we visited a little town called Restrepo where her Mother and Father were born. We stayed at her uncles little cabin that they built.

We visited her aunts house but I left my camera at home it was beautiful. We got a tour of the garden and ate about ten different types of fruits off the tree.
(I would really advice against such a thing)
We head home for another HOT week in Cali. . . . . .
AND WERE BACK! NOW WE ARE GETTING THE GIRLS FROM BOGOTA!
Jenn came to visit and Shelly moved back home to Cali with Maricela !
We meet them in Bogota on the 6th of july the 10 hour bus ride was not that bad this time.
Important thing to note, is how many pictures of Jenn with Animals !

So after a few days in Bogota, after talking to a stranger outside of Our Hotel. We decided to go to Melgar. He spoke of Beautiful pools and tropical weather !

Ok so the next picture is slightly inappropriate. Mostly because we were on a tiny, steamy, hot bus for about 7 hours ? Should have only been 3. To top it off a gentlemen gets on and starts spraying cologne all over the place to sell it to us. . . . we were not the happiest bunch.
So the Bus stops because of something in the road who knows what. We sit in traffic and car exhaust for about an hour or so. We buy bags of water from an old ladies house and palm wine to sooth it over.
Of course Jenn finds cats. . .

We finally get to Melgar it was sort of a fail. Not going to lie. Place was a bit run down. Finding a hotel for all of us was kind of a pain in the but. We took it well. Lot's of breathing and a few beers made it all happen !
Jenn woke me up with a beer after we danced the previous night at the club and talked until 4 am, really she is a great friend.

After a day at the pool We get out pretty fast ! Back on a bus to head to Salento!
