June 8th-June 9th

         So my adventure begins, two airports roughly 9 hours and a pound and half of anxiety I make it to Bogota, Colombia Airport.  I meet Maya outside of the airport and everything is all set. No more anxiety just simplicity. Seeing her makes my whole trip !

         We take a cab from the airport a good distance and it only costs 11$ Maricela has a cousin who owns a house in the city of Bogota and it was amazing.

      It's on top of a hill equipped with a beautiful hammock,

 tall ceilings big windows and an awesome view. 

                        

We had dinner and the meat that was prepared was amazing the meat here is so much better than back home same with the produce. We did our shots of rum and caught up with each other it was a night to remember.

My first day in the city came with an early rise, small breakfast and a tour of the city. We spent most of the morning wandering around eating everything in sight. the city is pretty packed and traffic is crazy in some parts but all in all it's a great city. 

        I am definitely in a different world. It seems that I am  the mini free tourist attraction. An older woman, who was high on glue came over to take pictures of me and her together. She did say she was a super model.

 Not going to lie I was a little nervous she was going to pinch a grab! 

      

Before we went home we of course had to stop and get some of this 

(whatever it was; it was really good )

We spent the rest of the Early afternoon basically doing this!
